How to deal with condensation of dust treatment equipment in winter?
Font size:SMB

In winter, because of the low temperature, the dust treatment equipment is prone to condensation in the use process. If this phenomenon is not handled properly in time, it will aggravate the corrosion of the dust treatment equipment, hydrolyze the filter, shorten the service life of the dust treatment equipment, and even make the dust adhere to the surface of the filter, block the pores, leading to dust treatment equipment resistance So it can't work normally.

Therefore, it is particularly important to keep the dust treatment equipment warm in winter, so that it can operate flexibly in cold weather.

Causes of condensation

Dewing refers to the phenomenon that saturated water is precipitated from the moist air under a certain pressure and temperature. The temperature point of moisture precipitation is called dew point.

In the saturated state, the higher the gas pressure, the lower the dew point, and the higher the moisture content in the air, the higher the dew point temperature. When the moisture content in the air is constant, and the temperature of the humid air is lower than the dew point temperature, water will be separated out from the supersaturated air, that is to say, condensation phenomenon will occur. When the air temperature is higher than the dew point, no water will be precipitated, and no condensation will occur.

Causes and solutions of condensation

1. There is air leakage in dust treatment equipment

We all know that the internal temperature of dust treatment equipment is very high when it works, and if the machine leaks air, it will enter part of the outside air inside. When the cold air meets the hot air, it will produce condensation due to physical changes.

2. The humidity in the flue gas exceeds the standard

When the dust treatment equipment is absorbing dust, because the local air is relatively humid or there is a large amount of moisture in the smoke and dust, the phenomenon of condensation will occur when the dust is inhaled into the dust treatment equipment. Generally, this kind of situation is relatively easy to occur in cement manufacturing plants.

3. The temperature of pulse dust treatment equipment is too low when injecting gas

In the process of cleaning dust by pulse jet, the dust treatment equipment uses compressed air to achieve the purpose. When the air is compressed, the internal pressure will change correspondingly, which is not obvious in summer. If it is in winter, due to the change of pressure, the internal temperature will change significantly, which will lead to the decrease of the temperature of the injection gas Condensation.

4. No insulation measures are taken

If there is no heat insulation protection or poor protection measures for the shell of dust treatment equipment, condensation will occur due to the temperature difference between inside and outside.
